Step 4.1 – Identify the parts
From left to right, the parts are Weight Shaft Key, Weight Shaft, Gearbox Shaft, Brake/Pulley Shaft (above), and Pulley.
Step 4.2 – Install Brake/Pulley Shaft
Install the Brake/Pulley Shaft by inserting it in the rear most socket. From the rear of the unit, the shaft is inserted on the right side.
You will need to fiddle with the gear a bit to allow the shaft to slide through.
Step 4.3 – Correct orientation
Step 4.4 – Install Pulley
Step 4.5 – Align the Gearbox shaft
The gearbox shaft goes in the middle receiver. It can only be inserted one way.
The Gearbox gear may need to be fiddled with as well to allow the Gearbox shaft to slide through.
Step 4.6 – Insert the gearbox shaft fully
Push the gearbox shaft in completely.
The shaft may need to be rotated slightly to be completed inserted.
Step 4.7 – Weight shaft installation
Slide the weight shaft through the front most receiver and weight gear. The weight shaft is bidirectional and can be inserted from either side.
Pay attention to the keyhole for the weight shaft key.
Step 4.8 – Align the key way
The weight shaft key has a rounded and flat side. The flat side goes into the weight shaft keyhole.
Small fingers or some pliers/tweezers make this step much easier!
